The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta today welcomed a group of young participants who visited the Parliament of Malta as part of an international youth participation activity organised by Proutist Universal Malta under the EU Erasmus+ programme. Read full press release here.

5 Elements for Active Citizenship project is directly aligned with the objectives of the Erasmus+ program that promote active participation of young people in democratic life. This project serves the main objectives of Erasmus+ youth engagement activities by enabling young people to acquire social responsibility, critical thinking, empathy, environmental awareness and democratic participation skills. The element, which consists of Nature, Language, Reflection, Emotional Depth and Behavior components, will increase the sense of social responsibility and awareness of young people while encouraging them to take an active role at individual and societal level. The project is directly linked to the Erasmus+ objectives promoting the participation of young people in the democratic life of Europe.
