CASPAE – a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) based in Coimbra, Portugal implements an Erasmus+ KA1 mobility for adult learners, entitled “Together for a Greener World,” project number: 2024-1-PT01-KA121-ADU-000214366, at Marsaskala, Malta on June 1 to 7, 2025. This initiative aims to foster environmental awareness, community engagement and the development of green skills among adult learners, many of whom are socially and educationally disadvantaged.
Five-day programme for a group of 10 adult learners accompanied with two team members and facilitators implement the project in Malta, which includes the following non-formal educational activities.
Insight into approaches to environmental education, sustainability and cooperative living;
Participation in workshops, group discussions, or creative sessions that promote ecological awareness and collective responsibility;
Community-based experiences aligned with values of social cohesion and sustainable development, possibly integrating cultural and local environmental heritage elements;
Reflective activities to encourage active citizenship and more conscious, sustainable behaviours.
